Affordable Custom Jewelry designs are our specialty! Gingles has designed custom pieces for individuals, brides, bridal parties, performance groups, and schools. To start the custom process, just send us an email answering as many of the questions below as you can.Once we exchange email ideas, we can give you a final quote for your custom order for your review and approval. Once approved, we require a 50% deposit, with the remainder payable upon receipt. Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the custom creation, you may return it us within 30 days for a full refund (less postage and handling). After 30 days, an item can be returned for credit towards the purchase of another item.
Individuals Individual custom orders have included necklaces, earrings, "Mother's" necklace set (with children's birthstones), beaded watchbands, eyeglass chain holders, anklets, charm bracelets, and rosaries. Consider the questions below, and then send an email outlining what you are looking for to get the process going.
Brides
Congratulations! You put so much time and effort into everything else for your wedding, so why settle on your jewelry? Common designs for brides are necklaces, earrings, and/or bracelets. Some brides prefer pearls, some crystals, and some just a gold or silver design. Designs can be more or less formal, depending on the style of wedding being planned. Some additional considerations to the below questions would be to consider the trim on the dress (would white or creamy white pearls, or crystals match better) and whether you have something you would like to incorporate for your special day. We once incorporated a family heirloom brooch into a bracelet that could be removed after the wedding ("something old" or "something borrowed" we guessed). Why not stop running around to every store in town looking for exactly what you want, and have it hand-made, especially for you, and maybe even the bridal party? We are sure you can find something else to do with that time saved!
Bridal Parties
You are planning every detail of your special day, so why settle on the jewelry for the bridal party to what you might find locally? What better gift to give your attendants than one-of-a-kind jewelry creations that are handcrafted to match their outfits for your special day? Many brides choose to design necklace, earring and bracelet sets for their bridal parties. The neckline, design and color of the bridesmaid dresses is the key for these custom orders, in addition to the below questions. A special touch is to incorporate a key crystal or glass bead matching the color of the dresses in the designs. Pearls, crystals and gold and silver styles are most common. Most performance groups, including choirs, bands, orchestras, dance or cheerleading troupes, have uniforms to ensure visual continuity. Those uniforms can include necklaces and/or earrings. Depending on the type of performance group, there may be special needs for the jewelry, including unique combination of colors desired, variety of sizes required, ability to change ear wires while still keeping the earrings looking the same, and even the sheer quantity of pieces required. Gingles has been designing the jewelry for a large choral group in Pittsburgh for the last six years. Since the original order was placed, new orders are placed every year for new members, and the pieces still match since they are made the same way each year. Some items have even been returned for cleaning or restringing (accidents do happen), so "service" is also available to help keep your group in "harmony". School and team spirit can be an important part of growing up. These necklace and/or bracelet creations are made with glass seed beads for the colors of the school. They can be made with or without charms, depending on the look desired. Charms available include school initials, sports teams, band or music groups, and cheerleading or dance. Other charms may be available depending on your needs. Lengths and style (single strand or wire loop style) can also be specified. By thinking through the common custom questions, and adding specific needs required by your group, we can come up with a design that will meet your needs, look and budget.
